The BRussells Tribunal are intellectuals, artists and activists who denounce the logic of permanent war promoted by the American government and its allies, affecting for the time being particularly one region in the world: the Middle East. It started with a people's court against the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) and its role in the illegal invasion of Iraq, but continued ever since. It tries to be a bridge between the intellectual resistance in the Arab World and the Western peace movements.

Dear friends in justice and peace,

In 2005 the West celebrated the end of World War II. Now Western Europe is getting ready to commemorate in 2014 World War I. Meanwhile, we hardly realise that in 2009 war remains for millions a daily reality. "No more war" is a dream and a just wish, but unfortunately has not materialised.
In 1967 — more than 40 years ago — the Bertrand Russell Tribunal condemned US war crimes in Vietnam. But only on 27 January 1973, six years later, did the Americans withdraw. Today, it’s almost seven years since US troops invaded Iraq and the illegal occupation seems far from over. Like the Vietnam War, the war in Iraq is a war of aggression. The United States and its allies invaded Iraq on 20 March 2003 under the pretext that Iraq had developed weapons of mass destruction (afterwards proven false).

Just before the invasion, and immediately afterwards, there were massive protests against the British-American plan. Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair forfeited the necessary credibility to become the first president of the European Union. Meanwhile in Britain a fourth committee has been established to investigate why Blair decided to participate in the illegal invasion.
Yet we are surprised that the protests of civil society against this war resound ever weaker, though the devastation wrought is enormous. Seven years of war on Iraq have caused more than one million deaths with 4.5 million people forced to flee.
The BRussells Tribunal tries to gather as much information as possible about the real situation in Iraq, and wants to reach as many people as possible with real news of this war and occupation, including:

  • The impact of the use of depleted uranium

  • The reasons for the destruction of the Iraqi state, its infrastructure and cultural heritage

  • Why academics, doctors, journalists were kidnapped, obliged to leave the country or killed

  • Violations of the basic rights of Iraqis, especially women, children and civilians.

The BRussells Tribunal wants to give voice to the Iraqis who live under the daily terror of a horrendous occupation.
And if there is occupation, there is resistance. That was the case in World War II, and Iraq is no different.
We want that voice — totally absent in our media — to be heard.

Het BRussells Tribunal brengt intellectuelen, artiesten en activisten samen die zich verzetten tegen de logica van een permanente oorlog die gepromoot wordt door de regering van de Verenigde Staten en bondgenoten en die nu vooral op één regio is gericht: het Midden-Oosten. In 2004 organiseerde het een tribunaal tegen  het “Project for a New American Century (PNAC)” en zijn rol in de illegale invasie in Irak.  Het BRussells Trubunal wil een brug zijn tussen het verzet in de Arabische Wereld en de vredesbewegingen in het Westen.

Beste vrienden,                                                                                                                  

In 2005 vierde het Westen het einde van WOII en nu maakt West-Europa zich klaar om vanaf 2014 de “grote oorlog: 1914-1918 te” gedenken.  Intussen beseffen we haast niet dat anno 2009 de oorlog voor miljoenen nog een dagelijkse realiteit is. “Nooit meer oorlog” is een droom en een vrome wens, maar spijtig genoeg geen werkelijkheid.

In  1967 – meer dan 40 jaar geleden – veroordeelde het Russell Tribunal de oorlogsmisdaden in Vietnam, maar pas op 27 januari 1973, zes jaar later werd een wapenstilstand gesloten.

Vandaag is het bijna zeven jaar geleden dat Amerikaanse troepen Irak binnenvielen en de onwettige bezetting lijkt nog lang niet ten einde.


De oorlog in Irak is net als de Vietnam-oorlog een agressieoorlog: de Verenigde Staten en bondgenoten vielen op 20 maart 2003 Irak binnen, onder het voorwendsel dat Irak massavernietigingswapens ontwikkelde (wat achteraf onwaar bleek te zijn).  Vlak voor de inval en onmiddellijk nadien is er veel protest geweest tegen deze Amerikaanse inval en de vroegere Prime Minister van het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Tony Blair, verspeelde hierdoor de nodige geloofwaardigheid om de eerste president van de Europese Unie te worden. Intussen is in Groot-Brittannië al de vierde commissie een onderzoek gestart naar de reden waarom Blair destijds besliste  deel te nemen aan de VS-invasie. Toch zijn we verbaasd dat het protest van de civiele maatschappij tegen deze oorlog steeds zwakker klinkt, alhoewel de verwoestingen enorm zijn en er na 7 jaar oorlog meer dan 1 miljoen doden te betreuren vallen en 4,5 miljoen mensen op de vlucht zijn.

Het BRussells Tribunal probeert zoveel mogelijk informatie te verzamelen over de werkelijke situatie in Irak en wil zoveel mogelijk mensen bereiken met nieuws over deze bezettingsoorlog:

  • De gevolgen van het gebruik van wapens met verarmd uranium

  • De redenen voor de vernietiging van de Iraakse staat, de infrastructuur en het cultureel erfgoed

  • Waarom academici, dokters, journalisten werden ontvoerd, verplicht het land te verlaten of vermoord

  • De schendingen van de basisrechten van de Irakezen en meer in het bijzonder deze van vrouwen, kinderen en burgers.


Het BRussells Tribunal wil de stem laten horen van de Irakezen die onder de dagelijkse terreur leven van een gruwelijke bezetting. Als er bezetting is, dan is er ook verzet. Dat was zo in WOII, en dat is in Irak niet anders. We willen die stem, totaal afwezig in onze media, laten horen.
Het BRussells Tribunal is wereldwijd gekend omwille van de correcte en goed gecontroleerde informatie die wordt verzameld en verspreid via zijn website.

Vanaf januari 2010 willen we zoveel mogelijk geïnteresseerden via een nieuwsbrief op de hoogte houden van de situatie in Irak en in het Midden-Oosten en van de activiteiten en de publicaties van het BRussells Trubnal.  We waarderen het als u zelf controleert of uw adresgegevens door ons correct werden ingevuld.  Door hier te klikken, kan u deze gegevens bekijken en aanvullen. Le BRussells Tribunal rassemble des intellectuels, des artistes et des activistes qui s’opposent à la logique d’une guerre permanente soutenue par le gouvernement des Etats Unis et ses alliés et effectant pour le moment  une seule région, le Moyen-Orient. En 2004 le Tribunal a organisé un tribunal contre l’invasion illégale de l’Irak. Il veut devenir le lien entre la résistance dans le monde arabe et les mouvements occidentaux pour la paix.

Chers amis pour la justice et pour la paix,

En 2005, l’Occident a célébré la fin de la seconde Guerre Mondiale et l’Europe occidentale se prépare à commémorer la Grande Guerre 1914-1918 dès 2014. Entretemps, nous ne réalisons pas qu' en 2009 la guerre est une réalité quotidienne pour des millions de personnes. « Plus jamais de guerre » est un rêve et un humble souhait, mais n’est pas une réalité.

En 1967, il y a plus de 40 ans maintenant, le Tribunal RUSSELL condamna les crimes de guerre au Vietnam, mais ce ne fut que le 27 janvier 1973 que l’armistice fut installé.   

Cela fait maintenant presque sept ans que l’armée américaine a envahi l’Irak et cette occupation illégitime n’est pas prête de se terminer. Comme la guerre au Vietnam, la guerre en Irak est une guerre d'agression: les Etats-Unis et ses alliés ont envahi l’Irak le 20 mars 2003, sous prétexte que l'Iraq a developpé et posséde des armes de destruction massive ( rétrospectivement il a été prouvé que c'etait faux).

Des protestations massives contre le plan d'invasion Americano-Britanique ont eu lieu les jours avant l'invasion et les jours suivant. En conséquence l'ex-premier ministre anglais,Tony Blair, par manque de crédibilité n'a pu devenir le premier président de l'Union Européenne. Entre-temps, pas moins de quatre commissions rogatoires ont    été mises en place au Royaume Uni pour élucider les motivations de Tony Blair pour participer à l’invasion américaine. Tout de même,  nous somme surpris par l'affaiblissement  des protestations  de la société civile vu les énormes ravages et dévastations causés par cette  invasion. 7 ans de guerre contre l'Irak ont causé la mort de plus d’ 1 million d'Irakiens et obligé prés de 4,5 millions à fuir leurs maisons.  

Le BRussells Tribunal essaie de récolter le plus possible d'informations sur la réalité de la situation en Irak.Il a comme but de communiquer au maximum de gens possible les  informations concernant cette guerre et occupation incluant:

  • Les conséquences de l’utilisation d’armes à l’uranium appauvri

  • Les raisons de la destruction de l’état irakien , de l’infrastructure et de l’héritage culturel

  • Pourqoi des académiciens, des docteurs et des journalistes ont été enlevés et forcés à quitter le territoire ou sont assassinés

  • La violation des droits fondamentaux des Irakiens et en particulier des femmes, enfants et citoyens

Le BRussells Tribunal veut donner une voix aux Irakiens qui vivent au quotidien dans la terreur de cette horrible occupation. Là ou il y a guerre, il y a résistance. Ce fut le cas pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, ce l’est maintenant en Irak. Cette voix, totalement absente dans nos médias, nous voulons vous la faire entendre.  

Le BRussells Tribunal a une renommée internationale en ce qui concerne la fiabilité et la valeur de l’information qu’il distribue via son site. Dès janvier, nous voulons tenir au courant le plus de gens possible de la situation en Irak et au Moyen-Orient et des activités et des publications du BRussells Tribunal , ceci via une lettre d’information. El Tribunal BRussells está compuesto por intelectuales, artistas y activistas que denuncian la lógica de guerra permanente promovida por el gobierno estadounidense y sus aliados, lo que afecta al futuro de una región concreta del mundo: Oriente Próximo. El Tribunal BRussells se inició con un tribunal popular contra el Proyecto para el Nuevo Siglo Estadounidense y su papel en la invasión ilegal contra Iraq, y desde entonces ha continuado con su labor. El Tribunal BRussells pretende ser un puente entre la resistencia intelectual en el mundo árabe y los movimientos pacifistas de Occidente.

En 2005 Occidente celebró el fin de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en 2014 Europa occidental está preparada para celebrar el fin de la Gran Guerra (1914-1918). Entretanto, apenas somos conscientes de que en el año 2009 la guerra es aún una realidad diaria para millones de personas. “No más guerras” es un sueño y un buen deseo pero, desgraciadamente, no se ha materializado.
En 1967, hace más de 40 años, el Tribunal Russell condenó los crímenes de Guerra en Vietnam, pero fue el 27 de enero de 1973 cuando Estados Unidos salió de Vietnam. Hoy, hace casi siete años desde que las tropas estadounidenses invadieron Iraq y la ocupación ilegal parece estar muy lejos de su fin.  

Al igual que la guerra de Vietnam, la guerra de Iraq es una guerra de agresión. Estados Unidos y sus aliados invadieron Iraq el 20 de marzo de 2003 con el pretexto de que Iraq estaba desarrollando armas de destrucción masiva (lo que después se demostró que era falso). Justo antes e inmediatamente después de la invasión se produjeron protestas masivas contra la invasión estadounidense y Toni Blair, el ex primer ministro del Reino Unido, perdió la credibilidad necesaria para convertirse en el primer presidente de la Unión Europea. Mientras tanto, en Reino Unido se ha creado el cuarto comité para iniciar una investigación sobre por qué Blair decidió participar en la invasión ilegal.
Sin embargo, nos sorprende que a pesar de que la devastación es tremenda, las protestas de la sociedad civil contra esta guerra son cada vez más débiles. Los siete años de guerra han causado más de un millón de víctimas mortales y casi cinco millones de desplazados.
El Tribunal BRussells recopila cuanta información es posible sobre la situación real en Iraq y quiere informar sobre esta guerra y subsiguiente ocupación a la mayor cantidad de gente posible en lo relativo a::

  • El impacto del uso del uranio empobrecido

  • Las razones para la destrucción de los lugares arqueológicos del Estado de Iraq, su infraestructura y su herencia cultural

  • Por qué los académicos, doctores, periodistas, etc. han sido secuestrados, obligados a abandonar su país o

  • Las violaciones de los derechos humanos básicos de las mujeres, los niños y los civiles iraquíes.

El Tribunal BRussells quiere dar voz a los iraquíes que viven bajo el terror diario y una espantosa ocupación. Y si hay ocupación, hay resistencia. Así ocurrió en la Segunda Guerra Mundial e Iraq no es distinto. Queremos que esa voz, absolutamente ausente de los medios de comunicación, se escuche. محكمة بروكسل هى مجموعة من المثقفين والفنانين والنشطاء الذين يدينون منطق الحرب الدائمة التى تديرها وتنفذها الولايات المتحدة وحلفائها، والتى تعانى منها فى الوقت الحالى منطقة واحدة من العالم بالتحديد: منطقة الشرق الأوسط. لقد بدأت المحكمة أنشطتها بعقد محاكمة شعبية ضد مشروع القرن الامريكى الجديد ( بناك) ودوره فى الغزو غير الشرعى للعراق، ولكنها، أى المحكمة، استمرت فى عملها منذ ذلك الوقت. وتحاول المحكمة أن تصبح جسرا بين مقاومة المثقفين فى العالم العربى، وبين حركات السلام فى اوروبا

أصدقائى فى العدالة والسلام الأعزاء

فى عام 2005 احتفل الغرب بانتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية. وتستعد اوروبا الغربية الآن للاحتفال بالذكرى المئوية للحرب العالمية الاولى عام 2014 . ويصعب التصور، فى نفس الوقت، أن تظل الحرب المشتعلة ضد ملايين البشر حقيقة يومية فى عام 2009 . أن شعار "كفى حروب" هو مجرد حلم ومجرد أمنية، لم تتحقق فعليا للأسف.

فى عام 1967 ، أى منذ أكثر من اربعين عاما، أدانت المحاكمة التى عقدها برتراند رسل جرائم الحرب التى ارتكبتها الولايات المتحدة الامريكية فى فيتنام. لكن الامريكيين لم ينسحبوا فعليا الا فى 27

يناير عام 1973 ، أى بعد 6 سنوات من المحاكمة. واليوم يكون قد مضى حوالى سبع سنوات على غزو القوات الامريكية للعراق، ولا يبدو أن الاحتلال الامريكى غير الشرعى سينتهى قريبا.

ان الحرب فى العراق هى حرب عدوانية مثلما كانت الحرب فى فيتنام. فالولايات المتحدة وحلفائها قاموا بغزو العراق فى 20 مارس عام 2003 ، بدعوى تطوير العراق لأسلحة دمار شامل (وهو الأمر الذى تبين زيفه فيما بعد).
في الايام التي سبقت الغزو ، والتي بعده مباشرة، كانت هناك احتجاجات جماهيرية واسعة ضد المخطط الامريكى البريطانى. هذه الاحتجاجات ادت الى افتقار رئيس وزراء بريطانيا السابق تونى بلير المصداقية الضرورية لكى يصبح أول رئيس للاتحاد الاوروبى. بل وقد تأسست فى الوقت الحاضر فى بريطانيا اللجنة الرابعة للتحقيق فى الأسباب التى دعت تونى بلير لاتخاذ قرار المشاركة فى الغزو غير الشرعى.
لكن ما يثير تعجبنا هو أن احتجاجات المجتمع المدنى ضد هذه الحرب أصبحت أكثر ضعفا وخفوتا، على الرغم من ضخامة التدمير الذى أحدثته الحرب.
لقد تسببت سبع سنوات من الحرب فى العراق فى موت أكثر من مليون عراقى واضطرار 4,5 مليون شخص الى الهروب من محل اقامتهم
تحاول محكمة بروكسل جمع اكبر قدر ممكن من المعلومات حول الأوضاع الفعلية فى العراق، وتحاول قدر استطاعتها توصيل الأخبار الحقيقية حول هذه الحرب والاحتلال الى اكبرعدد من الأشخاص بما في ذلك المعلومات التي تخص
ـ آثار استخدام اليورانيوم المنضب
ـ أسباب تدمير الدولة العراقية والبنية التحتية والارث الثقافى العراقي
ـ لماذا تم اختطاف الاكاديميين والأطباء والصحفيين وتخييرهم بين مغادرة البلاد أو القتل
ـ انتهاكات الحقوق الأساسية للعراقيين، خاصة حقوق النساء والأطفال والمدنيين

تريد محكمة بروكسل اسماع صوت العراقيين الذين يعيشون تحت الارهاب اليومى للاحتلال الرهيب
وطالما كان هناك احتلال فهناك بالضرورة مقاومة. كان هذا هو الحال فى الحرب العالمية الثانية، ولا يختلف وضع العراق فى ذلك الأمر. نحن نريد أن يستمع العالم للصوت الغائب تماما فى أجهزة اعلامنا

          <p><span class="style31">            In 2005 the West celebrated the end of World War II. Now Western Europe is getting ready to commemorate in 2014 World War I. Meanwhile, we hardly realise that in 2009 war remains for millions a daily reality. &quot;No more war&quot; is a dream and a just wish, but unfortunately has not materialised.<BR />In 1967 — more than 40 years ago — the Bertrand Russell Tribunal condemned US war crimes in Vietnam. But only on 27 January 1973, six years later, did the Americans withdraw. Today, it’s almost seven years since US troops invaded Iraq and the illegal occupation seems far from over. Like the Vietnam War, the war in Iraq is a war of aggression. The United States and its allies invaded Iraq on 20 March 2003 under the pretext that Iraq had developed weapons of mass destruction (afterwards proven false). </span><br />

        <td colspan="2" class="style34"><p><span class="style31">Just before the invasion, and immediately afterwards, there were massive protests against the British-American plan. Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair forfeited the necessary credibility to become the first president of the European Union. Meanwhile in Britain a fourth committee has been established to investigate why Blair decided to participate in the illegal invasion.<br />
          Yet we are surprised that the protests of civil society against this war resound ever weaker, though the devastation wrought is enormous. Seven years of war on Iraq have caused more than one million deaths with 4.5 million people forced to flee. <br />
          The B<span class="style23">Russell</span>s Tribunal tries to gather as much information as possible about the real situation in Iraq, and wants to reach as many people as possible with real news of this war and occupation, including:</span><br />

              <p><span class="style6">En 2005, l’Occident a célébré la fin de la seconde Guerre Mondiale et l’Europe occidentale se prépare à commémorer la Grande Guerre 1914-1918 dès 2014. Entretemps, nous ne réalisons pas qu' en 2009 la guerre est une réalité quotidienne pour des millions de personnes. « Plus jamais de guerre » est un rêve et un humble souhait, mais n’est pas une réalité.<br />
              <br />
              En 1967, il y a plus de 40 ans maintenant, le Tribunal RUSSELL condamna les crimes de guerre au Vietnam, mais ce ne fut que le 27 janvier 1973 que l’armistice fut installé. <br />
              Cela fait maintenant presque sept ans que l’armée américaine a envahi l’Irak et cette occupation illégitime n’est pas prête de se terminer. Comme la guerre au Vietnam, la guerre en Irak est une guerre d'agression: les Etats-Unis et ses alliés ont envahi l’Irak le 20 mars 2003, sous prétexte que l'Iraq a developpé et posséde des armes de destruction massive ( rétrospectivement il a été prouvé que c'etait faux).</span><br />

        <td height="565" colspan="2" valign="top"><p><span class="style6">Des protestations massives contre le plan d'invasion Americano-Britanique ont eu lieu les jours avant l'invasion et les jours suivant. En conséquence l'ex-premier ministre anglais,Tony Blair, par manque de crédibilité n'a pu devenir le premier président de l'Union Européenne. Entre-temps, pas moins de quatre commissions rogatoires ont    été mises en place au Royaume Uni pour élucider les motivations de Tony Blair pour participer à l’invasion américaine. Tout de même,  nous somme surpris par l'affaiblissement  des protestations  de la société civile vu les énormes ravages et dévastations causés par cette  invasion. 7 ans de guerre contre l'Irak ont causé la mort de plus d’ 1 million d'Irakiens et obligé prés de 4,5 millions à fuir leurs maisons.    </span><br />
          Le B<span class="style23">Russell</span>s Tribunal essaie de récolter le plus possible  d'informations sur la réalité de la situation en Irak.Il a comme but de  communiquer au maximum de gens possible les   informations concernant cette guerre et occupation incluant: <br />

          <p><span class="style31"> En 2005 Occidente  celebró el fin de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en 2014 Europa occidental está  preparada para celebrar el fin de la Gran Guerra (1914-1918). Entretanto,  apenas somos conscientes de que en el año 2009 la guerra es aún una realidad  diaria para millones de personas. “No más guerras” es un sueño y un buen deseo  pero, desgraciadamente, no se ha materializado.<br />
En 1967, hace más de 40 años, el Tribunal Russell condenó los crímenes de  Guerra en Vietnam, pero fue el 27 de enero de 1973 cuando Estados Unidos salió  de Vietnam. Hoy, hace casi siete años desde que las tropas estadounidenses  invadieron Iraq y la ocupación ilegal parece estar muy lejos de su fin. </span><br />
            </p></td>

        <td colspan="2" class="style34"><p><span class="style31">Al igual que la guerra  de Vietnam, la guerra de Iraq es una guerra de agresión. Estados Unidos y sus  aliados invadieron Iraq el 20 de marzo de 2003 con el pretexto de que Iraq  estaba desarrollando armas de destrucción masiva (lo que después se demostró  que era falso). Justo antes e inmediatamente después de la invasión se  produjeron protestas masivas contra la invasión estadounidense y Toni Blair, el  ex primer ministro del Reino Unido, perdió la credibilidad necesaria para  convertirse en el primer presidente de la Unión Europea. Mientras tanto, en  Reino Unido se ha creado el cuarto comité para iniciar una investigación sobre  por qué Blair decidió participar en la invasión ilegal. <br />
Sin embargo, nos sorprende que a pesar de que la devastación es tremenda, las  protestas de la sociedad civil contra esta guerra son cada vez más débiles. Los  siete años de guerra han causado más de un millón de víctimas mortales y casi  cinco millones de desplazados. <br />
El Tribunal B<em>Russell</em>s recopila cuanta  información es posible sobre la situación real en Iraq y quiere informar sobre  esta guerra y subsiguiente ocupación a la mayor cantidad de gente posible en lo  relativo a:</span><br />

                <li class="style31">Las razones para la  destrucción de los lugares arqueológicos del Estado de Iraq, su infraestructura  y su herencia cultural </li>
                <li class="style31">Por qué los académicos,  doctores, periodistas, etc. han sido secuestrados, obligados a abandonar su  país o </li>
                <li class="style31">Las violaciones de los  derechos humanos básicos de las mujeres, los niños y los civiles iraquíes. </li>
              </ul>
          <p class="style31">El Tribunal B<em>Russell</em>s quiere dar voz a los iraquíes que  viven bajo el terror diario y una espantosa ocupación. Y si hay ocupación, hay  resistencia. Así ocurrió en la Segunda Guerra Mundial e Iraq no es distinto.  Queremos que esa voz, absolutamente ausente de los medios de comunicación, se  escuche.               <p align="right"><strong><span class="style61" dir="rtl">فى عام </span></strong> <span class="style61"><strong> 2005</strong> <strong> احتفل الغرب بانتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية. وتستعد اوروبا  الغربية الآن للاحتفال بالذكرى المئوية للحرب العالمية  الاولى عام </strong> <strong> 2014</strong> <strong> .  ويصعب التصور، فى نفس الوقت، أن تظل الحرب المشتعلة ضد ملايين البشر حقيقة  يومية فى عام </strong> <strong> 2009</strong> <strong> . أن شعار &quot;كفى حروب&quot; هو مجرد حلم ومجرد أمنية، لم  تتحقق فعليا للأسف.</strong></span></p>
              <div align="right"><span class="style61"><strong>فى عام   1967  ،  أى منذ أكثر من اربعين عاما، أدانت المحاكمة التى عقدها برتراند رسل جرائم الحرب  التى ارتكبتها الولايات المتحدة الامريكية فى فيتنام. لكن الامريكيين لم ينسحبوا فعليا الا فى   27   </strong> </span>

            <p align="right" class="style61"><strong><span dir="rtl">يناير  عام </span><span dir="ltr"> </span><span dir="ltr"> </span>1973<span dir="rtl"> </span><span dir="rtl"><span dir="rtl"> </span>، أى بعد </span><span dir="ltr"> </span><span dir="ltr"> </span>6<span dir="rtl"> </span><span dir="rtl"><span dir="rtl"> </span> سنوات من المحاكمة. واليوم يكون قد مضى حوالى سبع  سنوات على غزو القوات الامريكية للعراق، ولا يبدو أن الاحتلال الامريكى غير الشرعى  سينتهى قريبا. </span></strong></p>          </td>

        <td colspan="2" valign="top" class="style34"><p align="right"><strong><span class="style61" dir="rtl">ان الحرب فى العراق هى حرب عدوانية مثلما كانت  الحرب فى فيتنام. فالولايات المتحدة وحلفائها قاموا بغزو العراق فى </span></strong> <span class="style61"><strong> 20</strong> <strong>  مارس عام </strong> <strong> 2003</strong> <strong> ،  بدعوى تطوير العراق لأسلحة دمار شامل (وهو الأمر الذى تبين زيفه فيما بعد).</strong><br />
              <strong>في الايام التي  سبقت الغزو ، والتي بعده مباشرة، كانت هناك احتجاجات جماهيرية واسعة ضد المخطط  الامريكى البريطانى. هذه الاحتجاجات ادت الى</strong> <strong>افتقار رئيس وزراء بريطانيا السابق  تونى بلير المصداقية الضرورية لكى يصبح أول رئيس للاتحاد الاوروبى. بل وقد  تأسست فى الوقت الحاضر فى بريطانيا اللجنة الرابعة للتحقيق فى الأسباب التى  دعت تونى بلير لاتخاذ قرار المشاركة فى الغزو غير الشرعى.</strong><br />
              <strong>لكن ما يثير تعجبنا هو أن احتجاجات المجتمع المدنى ضد هذه  الحرب أصبحت أكثر ضعفا وخفوتا، على الرغم من ضخامة التدمير الذى أحدثته الحرب.</strong><br />
              <strong>  لقد تسببت سبع سنوات من الحرب فى  العراق فى موت أكثر من مليون عراقى واضطرار </strong> <strong> 4,5   مليون شخص الى الهروب من محل  اقامتهم</strong>   <strong> </strong><br />
              <strong>تحاول محكمة بروكسل جمع اكبر قدر ممكن من  المعلومات حول الأوضاع الفعلية فى العراق، وتحاول قدر استطاعتها توصيل الأخبار  الحقيقية حول هذه الحرب والاحتلال الى اكبرعدد</strong> <strong>من الأشخاص بما  في ذلك المعلومات التي تخص</strong>   <br />
