Palestine's Draft UNGA Resolution

by Palestinian Authority on 10-11-2012

This text, in both Arabic and English, of the draft “state status” upgrade resolution which Palestine is proposing for a vote of the UN General Assembly later this month, most likely on November 29, the annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and the 65th anniversary of the UN General Assembly resolution recommending the partition of Palestine into two states. This draft has been circulated to 192 of the 193 member states at the UN but not yet officially tabled. It is difficult to imagine how any state which is genuinely independent and/or has any self-respect or respect for international law could oppose this resolution.
