A dean at a college in Anbar University was assassinated in an armed attack central of Fallujah (65 km west of Baghdad), A police source in Anbar province said on Saturday.
“Unidentified gunmen attacked today in al-Nazizah area central of Fallujah the car of the Dean of Business and Economics Faculty named, Khalil Khalaf Jassim and fired him killing him on the spot while fled gunmen away,” source told “Shafaq News”.
“Security forces cordoned off the scene and began an inspection in search of militants while the body was transferred to the forensic medicine department,” the source added.
