De illegale oorlog geleid door de Amerikaans-Britse "Coalition of the Willing’ is - volgens de principes van Nurenberg - een misdaad tegen de vrede. Dergelijke oorlog moet, volgens het internationaal recht, juridische gevolgen hebben voor de agressors zodat de rechten van de slachtoffers gerespecteerd worden. Het IAON roept daarom iedereen op in 2024 mee te werken aan deze campagne: VERANTWOORDING EN RECHTVAARDIGHEID VOOR IRAK.

On Tuesday 14 November 2024 paramilitary gunmen in the uniforms of Iraqi National Police commandos raided a building belonging to the Ministry of Education in Baghdad’s Karrada district and arrested around 100 members of staff from two departments and around 50 visitors, according to lists compiled by the Minister of Education.
